For Buyers
Whether you are a seasoned estate sale shopper or attending your first one, this guide covers everything about how our sales work, what to expect, and how to get the most out of every visit.
The Basics
Our estate sales are held in the home itself. Every room is open, every item is priced and displayed carefully, and our staff is present throughout to answer questions and assist with purchases.
We take pride in how we stage and present items. Every piece is organized, cleaned where appropriate, and displayed so buyers can see it clearly and evaluate it honestly.
Our buyers range from families looking for practical household items to serious collectors hunting for specific categories. We welcome everyone equally.
We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and Venmo. We do not accept personal checks.
All items are sold as-is. Inspect any item carefully before purchasing. No returns or exchanges after purchase.
Items are priced at fair market value on the first day. We typically offer a discount on the final afternoon of the sale.
Furniture and large items can be purchased and arranged for a scheduled pickup. Please speak with our staff on-site.

Advice from Experience
We post photos on EstateSales.org before each sale. Reviewing them lets you decide whether a specific sale is worth attending and which rooms to head to first.
The best pieces go quickly. If you have specific items in mind, arriving at opening gives you the best chance of finding them.
All sales are final. We are happy to answer questions about condition, age, or provenance of any item.
We typically offer discounts on the final afternoon. The last few hours often offer the best value.
If you are interested in furniture or large pieces, bring someone to help you carry. You can also arrange a pickup time with our staff.
These are homes that belonged to real families. We ask all our buyers to treat the space and the items with care and respect.
